The present research is a qualitative contractual content analysis. Data was collected from 18 social workers of the headquarters, universities of medical sciences, and medical centers, following focused group discussion (FGD) method with multiple-question design. The inter-organizational dimension involved topics such as the weakness of hospital HIS system, interference of others in recording the discounts, poor instructions, occupation of social work posts by graduates of other majors, poor documentation, lack of personnel and facilities, lack balance between the authorities and responsibilities, and the unfamiliarity of health workers with the nature of social work. The inter-organizational dimension included the poor performance of other supporting organizations, growing social paths and undocumented immigrants, insurance role, lack of attention to some of the vulnerable groups, imposed expenses, growing visits to public hospitals, and the culture of using public resources. According to the findings of the study, different factors influence the amount and type of the economic support that the social workers provide for the needy patients and this fact imposes a great expense into the healthcare system of the country. On the other hand, it has deprofessionalized the social work profession and created a negative and low level perception towards it in the society.

According to the increasing statistics of divorce in Iran, we see a large number of children of divorce who are involved in many social, psychological and emotional injuries, which have been given less attention. Social workers as experts can play an effective role in reducing these harms. The purpose of the study is to explain the importance and role of social work in working with children. The main question of this research is whether the effectiveness of social work interventions on children of divorce has been considered? Using a Meta-Synthesis, this paper selected and analyzed 25 English and Persian studies on the impact of social service interventions on of children from divorced families during 1970-2020.Based on the findings, the researches were categorized into three areas: the negative consequences of parental divorce on children, the interventions made regarding divorced children, and the role of social work. The researches show that the interventions carried out were in the field of children's mental and emotional problems and less attention was paid to children's social issues. If specialized services are not provided to the children of divorce, the effects of the parents' divorce will be institutionalized, and removing them will cost a lot for individual and society. Social workers are one of the groups that importance of their role and specialized services has been paid less attention in researches. They can provide appropriate services to families and children to prevent possible harm or if problems arise, children will be less harmed in divorce.

Using an analytical approach and proposing the question: How is the convergence of social policy and social work possible? this study aims to investigate the role of social work in social policy development and the effect of welfare ideologies, and consequently social policies on social work. This paper identifies and conceptualizes the areas of interest to express this relationship in two axial roles: 1) the minimalist role in which the social worker is only the executor of social policy. In this situation, the social worker appears in the role of social policy executor in organizations and centers that provide social services, and 2) the extremist role in which the social worker acts as the social policy reformer. In this situation, the social worker embarks on a plan to analyze the existing problem, to present a research proposal, and even approve the policy at the same time with implementing the social policies to determine the agenda for implementing or preventing the implementation of a policy. In this role, the social worker both helps with developing the effective social work in a two-way interaction with social policy and help with the dynamicity and evolution of the social policy in an organic connection; the synergy interaction which is considered as a necessity for up-to-date social work and applied social policy in Iran.
